1. First test IELTS

This test measured your score in IELTS and that score will used whether you're in IELTS 1,2, or 3. The low score will be in IELTS 1, and vice versa. The test divided to only Reading and Writing. When I did the test, I felt confident because it's easier than my IELTS practice. I did it on time (which is rare to me lol) because the topic is familiar to me and the vocabularies were easily understood. Next a few weeks, I was told that I got IELTS 3. Oh wow, at first I thought there's something wrong in evaluating my score, but the committee said that my writing is good and my reading score was 6.5. That day I was happy and also afraid. The highest class which means two swords for me. The good thing was my hard work was paid off, but the bad thing was I'd meet many smart people who like competing each other.

2. Entry test IELTS
That was my first time I went to the class. There were around 20 people joined the class. I could feel the pressure of this class. Moreover, there was entry test which determined how many scores you get in the first class. Everyone was busy with their worlds and so was I. I was frustrated with this test (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) because it's more difficult than I expected, especially the listening *sigh*.  That's okay, it's only beginning. I could make it up next test.

3. Meeting fabulous teachers
The result of my test was shameful and it's not shocking tho. That's why I came there: to learn how to get 7 in IELTS. The class is quiet because we didn't know each other. Thanks god, I already knew one after we did Entry test. There were two teachers: one taught us speaking and listening, and the other was reading and writing. My first impression when I met the teachers were how generous they were. They listened to us well, gave some information and recommendations about scholarships and international universities. They treated us equal (fyi: there's only me who wears veil in the class that day). It was my first time having a different atmosphere in the class. Time passed by, I knew that they were UI lectures and graduated from University of Glasgow and University in the US, plus they got it from LPDP (Indonesian Scholarship). I was delighted everytime they talked about their experiences in the UK and US. The most important thing was they encouraged us and never looked down to us. I felt the students were treated equal whether they're smart or not.

4. Generous friends
This class really had amazing people with a great occupation. It needs 2 months or so to make us blend each other. However, I already got some new close friends and we like helping each other. Later I knew that there were one friend who is not only genius but also generous. It's rare to meet people like that in these days. He gave us his knowledge about IELTS. He never hesitated to help our struggle whenever we asked. Wow, he's so mature. After we had chit chat, I knew that he had already scholarship and next year he's gonna study at Japan. (Again, wow!) I was so inspired by him.

5. Mid-test and Final test
In the mid-test, my score improved. Thanks to the teachers and friends who helped me. Although, I still need more practice, it gave me motivation. For final test, it will be held on next Saturday. I hope the score won't make me disappointed.

After I did final test, I will get certificate. Of course, it's different from IELTS test. If you wanna join the IELTS test, you can visit LBI UI to further information. For you who wanna join the class, you have to pay 1.700.000 rupiah. Since, Salemba UI is far away from my house, I took the class only Saturday in the morning until afternoon. Some people told me why I took English course again meanwhile I already graduated. I replied I wanted to fight what I wanna reach. Whether I get it or not, at least I strive.
